Dany was previously the computer coordinator at Hidden Valley Middle School for Roanoke County School district, where he was in charge of the maintenance and management of the school’s computer systems. Dany later joined The Go Agency at Smith Mountain Lake as the Senior Web developer/Web Master.
Dany enjoys wood turning and target shooting in his “free” time. Dany is also a board member of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, a founding board member of the Smith Mountain Lake Young Professionals, for YPSML he has served as President, Vice President and continues to serve on the board as an advisor.
Born and raised in Franklin County, Virginia, Alicia hometown roots run deep. Serving as Next Generation’s resident digital video expert Alicia has the credentials to back up a career as a successful digital editor and animator.
With a degree in Film and Television Production and Media Writing from Mary Baldwin College, Alicia began her career as an editor and for Telemedia Productions in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she worked on both short format commercials and long format corporate videos.
With $300 in her pocket, Alicia decided to board a plane to Los Angeles to see how her skills measured up in a large market. She quickly became a lead editor for the TV Guide Channel working specifically on special events such as The Grammys, The Daytime Emmys, The Prime Time Emmys and The Oscars.
Mike was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. He graduated from Lynchburg College with a B.A. in Graphic Design and participated as a member of Kappa Pi, an art and design discipline honor society.
While not creating digital mastery, he enjoys running a muck around the world of terrorism in COD or saving the galaxy in virtual worlds. He also enjoys sports like softball, basketball, football, hiking, painting and illustrating comic book characters, and is quite the movie buff. Mike has an impressive collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figurines on his desk. Cowabunga!
Josh is originally from Ridgeway and attained his BS in web development from Radford University (Go Highlanders!) where he graduated as a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, a computing discipline honor society. He has previously worked for Modea, where he incorporated his six years of development experience building large web and flash based applications for Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.
Josh is passionate about emerging web standards, text editors, Moleskine sketchbooks, Sharpie pens, and Mountain Dew. He enjoys the lake life, spending his spare time to enjoy an occasional video game or movie, but using most of it to learn about new development tools and "redditing".
